How Reynforce compares with guardrail, tracing and gateway tools

In short

Guardrail, tracing and gateway tools watch how your AI agent behaves. Reynforce looks at what your agent promises your customers in your company's name, and keeps a record of every promise.

The problem these tools were not built for

Each tool did its job. None of them asked what a head of sales wants to know. Was that promise ours to make?

The tools you may already have

Kind of toolThe question it answers
Wording guardrailsIs this reply safe, and does it sound like us?
Tracing and observabilityWhat did the agent do, and what did it cost?
EvaluationIs the AI model good enough at this job?
MCP gateways (MCP is the way an agent connects to other tools)Is this agent allowed to use this tool?
ReynforceMay this agent promise this to a buyer, and who says so?

The first four tools are about the agent. Reynforce is about your company. It knows what your company stands behind, and what has been promised in its name.

What Reynforce does

  1. Facts. Prices, discounts, what each plan includes, your certifications. Each fact has a named owner. It also shows the date someone last checked it.
  2. Rules. For each agent, you set what it may promise on its own. You also set what needs a person to say yes first, and what it must never say.
  3. Activity. Every promise is written down. You can see what was said and to whom. You can see what it was based on, and whether it was allowed.

Reviews and references

Reynforce is new. We don't have customer reviews yet, and we won't make any up. Whoever you look at, us included, here are good questions to ask a company's customers:

  1. What did the agent promise in your name last month? How did you find out?
  2. How long did it take to get your legal and security teams to say yes?
  3. Who keeps the facts up to date? How much of their time does it take?
  4. What does it miss?
  5. What would make you switch it off?
