# Your first 30 minutes with Reynforce

**In half an hour you sign in, write down one thing your company says is true, put a name against it, and connect one agent that checks before it promises anything.** Each step says what you will see, so you know it worked.

You need two things: the email address your workspace was set up for, and an AI agent you can change the settings of. You do not need to give us access to your inbox or your CRM.

## Minute 0 — sign in

Go to <https://app.reynforce.com/signin> and sign in with the email your workspace was set up for.

**What you will see:** a page called **Today**. At the top is a short checklist headed *First ten minutes*. It covers the setup itself; the rest of this half hour is connecting a real agent and seeing its first check.

If you see *your workspace is still being set up*, nothing is wrong and nothing is lost: it is not ready yet, and the person who set it up will tell you when it is.

## Minute 2 — add your first line

Open **Lines** in the left-hand menu and add one thing your company says to buyers. Pick something an agent would repeat: a price, a certification you hold, how long setup takes, a date you have promised.

Write it the way you would want it quoted. "We are ISO 27001 certified" is better than "We take security very seriously", because a buyer can hold you to the first one.

**What you will see:** your line in the list, marked *unowned*, because nobody stands behind it yet.

## Minute 5 — put a name and a date against it

Choose who stands behind the line, and when it should next be checked. That person is the one who would know if it stopped being true.

**What you will see:** the line marked current. A line with nobody behind it is one your agent may not use. It is not blocked: it is unavailable, and the agent says it is checking rather than answering.

Add two or three more lines if you have them to hand. One is enough to carry on.

## Minute 10 — add an agent

Press **+ Add an agent** at the top of the left-hand menu. There are five short steps: name it, give it lines, check the drafts, choose who stands behind them, and connect it.

**What you will see:** on the last step, two boxes.

- **Its key.** Copy it now. It is shown once, on this page only, and cannot be shown again. If you lose it, make a new one from the **Keys** screen under your initials and revoke the old one there.
- **Your workspace's address.** It ends in `/mcp`.

## Minute 15 — connect it

In your agent's settings, add a new MCP connection. Paste the address, and send the key as a bearer token: `Authorization: Bearer` followed by your key.

Then paste the text from the box headed *Tell it to check before it acts* into the agent's instructions. It tells the agent to ask before a sentence commits your company to anything, to name the line it is relying on, and to tell the buyer it is checking when a line cannot be used.

Every platform puts these settings somewhere different, and we have not yet tried each one end to end. If you get stuck here, reply to your welcome email and we will do it with you. [Three steps to connect an agent](/agent-quickstart.html) has the same connection written for whoever looks after the agent.

**What you will see:** the page you left open says *Waiting for your agent's first check…*

## Minute 20 — the first check

Ask your agent to draft a reply that leans on the line you added. Before it writes the sentence, it asks Reynforce whether it may.

**What you will see:** the waiting message turns into *First check made at* the time, and says your agent is connected. Go back to **Today** and the check is there.

Reynforce records the check; it does not stop the message. Your agent stays in charge of what it sends, and you can see what it asked.

## Minute 25 — read the record

Open **Record** in the left-hand menu. Each entry says which agent asked, what it was about to do, which line it relied on, and the answer it got.

**What you will see:** one entry, for the check you just watched happen. There is a download for the whole list if you want it in a spreadsheet.

## After the first 30 minutes

Your lines are what your agents can rely on, so most of the value comes from adding the ones they actually use. Once the date an owner chose has passed, their line shows as *overdue* until somebody checks it again.
